Can I change my plan at any time?
Yes, of course. You can upgrade to a higher plan at any time in your customer area under Billing — the upgrade takes effect immediately, and the higher price is only charged from the next billing period. A downgrade takes effect at the end of the current billing period. There are no hidden fees; the contract term matches your chosen billing period (monthly or annual) and renews automatically unless cancelled.
Will I receive an e-invoice?
Yes, automatically. Every invoice is issued as an e-invoice in ZUGFeRD format — a PDF with embedded, machine-readable invoice data per EN 16931 that your accounting software can process directly. This makes you ready for the German B2B e-invoicing mandate. Public-sector customers can additionally provide a Leitweg-ID (routing ID) for XRechnung. The invoice arrives as an email attachment and is available in your customer area at any time.
Can I try CaptchaCore for free?
Yes. The Free plan is free forever and requires no payment information — you can use CaptchaCore right away with one site and up to 5,000 verifications per month. That way you can explore all core features at your own pace before deciding on an upgrade.
What exactly counts as one verification?
Every server-side check of a CaptchaCore token counts as one verification — that is, every POST request to the /api/v2/verify endpoint. Whether the result is "allow", "challenge" or "block" makes no difference. Challenge requests (GET /api/v2/challenge) are not counted.
Do I need a credit card to sign up?
No. The free plan requires no payment information — and paid plans also start their 14-day trial without any payment details. Afterwards, you pay your invoices conveniently by credit card, iDEAL, eps or Pay by Bank (via Mollie), by PayPal or by classic bank transfer with GiroCode (QR code). Optionally, future invoices can be debited automatically via SEPA direct debit or credit card. Details are governed by our payment terms (see footer).
What happens when my verification limit is reached?
By default, CaptchaCore follows the fail-open principle: if your quota is exhausted, forms continue to pass through — so your website stays fully functional in any case. The verifications are still logged, however. We will notify you in good time when you approach your limit and suggest a suitable plan if needed.
Where is my data stored?
All data is processed and stored exclusively on our own servers in Germany. No data is transferred to third countries. CaptchaCore sets no cookies and performs no tracking. Verification logs are automatically deleted after a maximum of 30 days (configurable). You can find further details in our Privacy Center.
How quickly can I integrate CaptchaCore?
Within a few minutes. For WordPress there is a plugin you simply upload and configure — no code required. For Laravel and Symfony, Composer packages integrate with the familiar framework mechanisms (middleware/FormType/validator/attributes). For WoltLab Suite, CaptchaCore is listed in the Plugin-Store. For all other platforms, a script tag and a server-side API call are all you need. You will find a detailed guide in our documentation.
